Kids + iMac = DONT LET IT HAPPEN

I am so angry at the moment and i am unsure about what to do, my niece decided it would be fun to scratch my screen up with a screwdriver while i was sleeping. There are scratches all over it and they all look like piece of hair and are very distracting, and since my nieces parents are poor seems like my only hopes are for house and contents insurance, or for charity

So one of my friends suggested i post here and see if anyone would be willing to help me get my LCD fixed by donating money, so if you can for just one minute put your self in my shoes and consider helping out a fellow mac user as well as a developer who helps out many mac users with their OS.

So if you are willing to help donate, please just click on the donate button on the top of the site, if the replacement ends up being covered by insurance or other means i plan to try my best to give back to donations unless otherwise indicated.

The above image was taken with a phone camera so it is not very visible, but it shows the area where most of the scratches meet. If you want to know what it looks like basically throw heaps of hair at your screen and see if you can use it steal with out being distracted *Dont actually do this*

UPDATE: Well just thought id drop people a note, saying that my house insurance will cover the LCD replacement which came in at 1200AUD!!!!! for a 2000AUD iMac, seems like that LCD is quite expensive, anyway the only expense on my behalf will be the 100AUD exccess

   I hope she got a good spanking. I also wanted to let you know that InsominiaX seems to be going strong after the latest 10.4.10 update.
