With the final shutdown of all support and development of InsomniaX from semaja2.net, I have decided to release the source code for everyone to continue development.

If a complete version is built and tested i will upload new versions committed by users for everyone to access.

    I’d be interested in trying to work on this code, but unfortunately I’m facing a steep learning curve before I’d be useful.

    I looked at the google project, http://code.google.com/p/insomnia-kext/, but could not figure out how to contact anyone currently involved to ask to be included in some way. How does one do that?

    A program called BetterTouchTools seems to have managed making the display sleep in Snow Leopard. Perhaps you could contact the developer and ask them how they did it?

    Hi,
    i don’t know much of Objective C or xcode. Just wanted to take a look. I just downladed and wanted to build the project, but there are 2 Build Errors

    Command /Developer/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DevToolsCore.framework/Resources/pbxcp failed with exit code 1

    /Users/vjay/Downloads/InsomniaX.Source/ButtonController.m:581: error: ‘OverallAct’ undeclared (first use in this function)
